May 28th is Menstrual Hygiene Day

And today is March 10th. And let’s be real, everyday is menstrual hygiene day for millions of people. It is great and absolutely critical that we have a PUBLICLY RECOGNIZED day to bring awareness to the many challenges faced by those who menstruate. And we are planning some exciting things for May 28th 2020.
For March 10th, and 11th and … everyday, let’s each do our own part to make menstrual equity a reality for everyone. Let’s start by talking about menstruation… like Chloe does in this fantastic video by Period. The Menstrual Movement (period.org).

A leap forward on leap day 2020

Ok, so it’s a corny title. That is what blogs offer: the chance to write a bit more out-of-the-box, show some personality and spark interest in the reader. See, you’re still here.

10 amazing people working towards menstrual equity.
How many menstruators does it take to change the world?

On February 29th 2020, eight special people agreed to spend time with our co-founders Kate and Kevin to talk about periods for a couple of hours. Now how cool is that? We think it is very cool! Very cool indeed.
The amazingly kind and talented Michele Braniff provided graphic recording services resulting in the Menstrual Equity Mural that artfully captured our group thoughts.

Big thanks to all participants, together we are changing the flow.
